Playing with a high-pressing strategy requires players to go from ‘warrior’ to ‘creator’ mode if they are to be successful, explains former England women’s assistant head coach, Brent Hills. 

Reflecting on the recent trend of high pressing at the top level of the women’s game at both club and international level, Hills believes players need to change their psychological state when the ball is regained.
