Learning:

-      Understanding different ‘types’ of forward pass

-       The importance of timing, weight and disguise of pass

-       How observation skills can lead to better forward passing

When receiving the ball, a player will attempt to pass it on to a team-mate 80% of the time, on other occasions they will shoot, dribble, or run with the ball.

Nothing destroys team cohesion and connectivity quite so quickly as inaccurate passing, and forward passing can be trickier, as it usually involves by-passing opponents and longer distances.
